Radio Tracking the Tamaulipan Rock Rattlesnake

Craig Pelke of San Antonio Zoo has shared a few fascinating photos of a special project conducted by San Antonio Zoo in a partnership with the Universidad de Autonoma Nuevo Leon.

The species is the Tamaulipan rock rattlesnake (Morulus lepidus morulus) and the tracking project takes place in Central Nuevo Leon. In the photographs we can see the external radio transmitter

We very much look forward to any updates in the future!
