Here’s a great story of how our Venom Defender Gloves assist with extra safety when catching and relocating King Cobras at Singapore Zoo.
Borja Reh writes…
King cobras are sometimes spotted in the Singapore Zoo, we usually won’t bother them since they are not aggressive to humans and they keep the retic population low (the retic pythons are the really troublesome animals here).
This round we had to relocate the snake since it was moving inside a tamarin open exhibit with some risk for the animals on display as well as for the curious visitors.
King cobras will not attack humans, they always flee when sensing us.
Even when provoked, they tend to turn away from the threat, only if cornered it might hood up and hiss to intimidate.
The most noble and magnificent of all snakes.
