Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
Please note payment will be shown on your statement as ‘1-2-1 (Animal Handling) Products Ltd’
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
All prices are exclusive of transport, packing and VAT.
VAT is charged at the rate of 20%.
Our quotations lapse after 30 days (unless otherwise stated).
Unless otherwise stated, the price quoted is an illustrative estimate only and the price charged will be our price current at the time of delivery.
Rates of tax and duties on the goods will be those applying at the time of delivery.
At any time before delivery we may adjust the price to reflect any increase in our costs of supplying the goods.
In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping and Handling
Orders placed before 3pm will be dealt with on that working day.
Orders placed after 3pm will be processed the next working day.
For all orders of Venom Defender gloves in the UK we charge a £7.50 shipping and handling charge unless otherwise stated in the checkout process
Shipping and handling charges for orders from the European Union, we use Royal Mail / TNT

We will deliver your order within 10 working days. If your item is not in stock then we will back order. For urgent deliveries please contact us. Delivery charges apply on all orders.
All delivery times quoted are estimates only.
If we fail to deliver within a reasonable time after the quoted delivery time, you may
(by informing us in writing) cancel the contract, however:
1 - you may not cancel if we receive your notice after the goods have been dispatched; and
2 - if you cancel the contract, you can have no further claim against us under that contract.
If you accept delivery of the goods after the estimated delivery time, it will be on the basis that you have no claim against us for delay (including indirect or consequential loss, or increase in the price of the goods).
We may deliver the goods in instalments. Each instalment is treated as a separate contract.
We may decline to deliver if we believe that it would be unsafe, unlawful or unreasonably difficult to do
You can pay by credit card, bank transfer or in cleared cheque prior to delivery, unless you have an approved credit account.
If you have an approved credit account, payment is due no later than 21 days after the date of our invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The Buyer shall not be entitled to withhold or set-off payment for goods delivered or work done for any reason whatsoever.
If you fail to pay us in full on the due date we may suspend or cancel future deliveries, cancel any discount offered to you, charge you interest at the rate set under s.6 of the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998;
(a) calculated (on a daily basis) from the date of our invoice until payment;
(b) before and after any judgment (unless a court orders otherwise);
(c) claim fixed sum compensation from you under s.5A of that Act to cover our credit control overhead costs; and
(d) recover the cost of taking legal action to make you pay:
You are to indemnify us in full and hold us harmless from all expenses and liabilities we may incur (directly or indirectly including financing costs and including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) following any breach by you of any of your obligations under these terms.
If you have an approved credit account, we may withdraw it or reduce your credit limit or bring forward your due date for payment. We may do any of those at any time without notice.
You do not have the right to set off any money you may claim from us against anything you may owe us.
While you owe money to us, we have a lien on any of your property in our possession.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted using 128bit encryption for secure shopping online.
We guarantee your satisfaction. We sincerely hope it won't happen, but if you are dissatisfied with the goods that are shipped, please do not hesitate to contact us.
All refunds will be made within 10 business days of the goods being returned to us, but you should note that refunds to some accounts may take a few days longer to reach your account. None of the above affects your statutory rights. All sales are governed by the relevant UK law.

1-2-1 Products Ltd. do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive
Damaged/Faulty goods must be reported within 24 hours of receipt and returned within 7 days of receipt.
All other goods should be returned within 7 days of receipt.
Goods should be unused and undamaged in their original packaging, with your details enclosed, so we can trace returns to the purchaser.
Postage will not be refunded and returns are subject to a 15% handling charge.
If the Goods (or any of them) are returned and are subsequently lost in transit we will only issue credit if it can be conclusively proven that the goods have actually been sent to our office (proof of posting required)
Venom Defender Animal Handling Gloves (Hercules™ 3180 R8E)
Venom Defender Animal Handling Gloves are intended as an extra line of security and should not be taken as a substitute of good handling techniques. Although not guaranteed to be puncture proof Venom Defender Animal Handling Gloves are highly puncture resistant. Venom Defender Animal Handling Gloves are effectively used against puncture wounds. Each and every person wanting to use these gloves for such dangerous activities as handling venomous snakes must do so on the understanding that they are fully responsible for their own actions. The handling of venomous snakes and other reptiles should only ever be attempted by a trained expert.
Wear & tear is not an option, especially when handling venomous snakes. When gloves are damaged we strongly recommend that these should be replaced.
Venom Defender Animal Handling Gloves are ultimately not designed for this purpose and service life cannot be specified as this depends on application and responsibility of the user to ascertain suitability of the glove for its intended use.

Venom Defender Animal Handling Gloves should be stored in dry conditions in its original package. When gloves are stored as recommended these will not suffer change in mechanical properties for up to 5 years from the date of manufacture.
Venom Defender Animal Handling Gloves are machine washable at 30c and will dry within 6 hours. Venom Defender Animal Handling Gloves are not waterproof.
